Assistant Manager
Block Island Pizza Pie Company is looking for an assistant manager to oversee daily operations. The assistant manager will assist the general manager with the supervision of all staff and functions included but not limited to: providing an excellent customer experience, keeping an organized, clean, and inviting space, assistance with recruitment and training, scheduling and banking, managing point-of-sale system and inventory.
The ideal candidate is hard-working self-starter with great organization, management, and people skills who has a passion for food, fun, and community. Previous experience in management in the food/beverage industry is a plus. The candidate for this role will need to be Food Safety certified, with reimbursement provided for related fees if not already certified.
This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, benefits include health insurance, IRA, paid time off, discounts, and more. Employee housing may be available.
